Griffin Bay Virtual Academy

Griffin Bay Virtual Academy is one of several parts of the complex Griffin Bay Learning Center.

Griffin Bay Virtual Academy is affiliated with the K-12 Learning Company, which has national and international success. The curriculum is all inclusive for grades Kindergarten through Eighth, and encompasses all subjects – math, reading, language arts, science and history. Families receive textbooks, teaching plans and workbooks and all related materials. Access to the on-line school provides interactive lessons, teaching tips, and it tracks student progress, attendance and daily planning. Parents serve as learning coaches and retain responsibility for their children’s academic success, but with the support and expertise of Griffin Bay staff. Griffin Bay Virtual Academy provides one of the best, most comprehensive curriculum packages available for home schooling options.

Student beginning levels are determined through on-line testing and consultation with the teacher. Testing is available through the K-12 website. Because Griffin Bay Virtual Academy is completely new, all components are not yet in place and tests should be printed out and held, pending consultation.
