Present county budget of $145K (not incl grants) that includes WSU Cooperative Extension Programs and the San Juan County Noxious Weed Board functions. I supervise three Extension staff, up to three grant-funded individuals, one WSU faculty member and have responsibility for over 140 Volunteer Staff.
WSU Cooperative Extension Agent, responsible for Extension Programming in San Juan County in the areas of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Community Horticulture, 4-H Youth Development, Learning Center Programs, Food Safety, and Community Development.
1994 - 1997 Northwest District Chair Council. A self-directed, administrative team that managed and supervised WSU Cooperative Extension district functions including budget development and personnel matters for eight counties of Western Washington.
1989 - 1993 Faculty Research Associate and Seed Pathologist, Department of Crop and Soil Sciences, Washington State University, Pullman, WA. Identified and developed solutions to insects, diseases, and related problems associated with the production and marketing of vegetable, cereal, and grass seeds in Washington and Idaho.
