Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,

Seasonal Flu: We have had a marked increase in absences due to a variety of symptoms including headache, stomach ache, sore throat,fever, etc. Parents are asked to please keep their student home 24 hours AFTER fevers have passed, or if they are still coughing heavily and might be contagious. Please report symptoms when you call in to report an absence. Our Public Health Nurses are tracking symptoms to keep on top of any sign of an epidemic.

MT. BAKER SKI BUS: Ski Bus sign-ups are scheduled for Thursday, November 12^th at 6:00PM in the high school commons. Parents must accompany students under 18 years of age to sign the forms.

BAND FAMILIES & FRIENDS: If you have a band student and you haven’t attended one of these meetings please try to do so this year.  The group meets the first Monday of each month at 6:30 PM in the band room.  The group is not only a fund raising group, but also supports the band activities through out the school year.  We have a wonderful band program and much of the success of the program is due to the hard work and dedication of the BAND FAMILIES  & FRIENDS.

King’s Receipts:  Don’t forget to turn in your King’s Receipts.  The deadline is November 24th.  Last year parents brought in over $150,000.00 in receipts.

After School Study Club: Our After School Study Club is up and running in Room 8 Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays 3:10-4:45.  We have 2 excellent High School helpers.
