The Griffin Bay Parent Partner Program is a coalition of families who came together 5 years ago to share and mutually support one another in the joys and trials of home schooling. It has become a cooperative venture between the San Juan Island School District and the home schooling community.

Weekly opportunities include workshops, enrichment classes, field trips, marine and eco-science with Friday Harbor Labs, art and music classes, site visits to our historical parks, museums and local points of interest. Some off-island adventures are also included. Academics are supported with an extensive curriculum library supplied by members, district resources and the Public Schools Foundation. Staff also provides academic support and materials to help parents and learning coaches best serve all students.
