Michael Soltman has served as Superintendent of the San Juan Island School District since 2002. Michael has 23 years experience in public education in Washington State with training and experience in curriculum and instruction, special education, personnel, technology and educational leadership. He sets high expectations for the performance of faculty and staff balanced with support for professional development and recognition for achievement.

Maude Cumming is the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent for San Juan Island School District. She has been with the district for 15 years. She is responsible for scheduling appointments. She also functions as the district's Affirmative Action Officer.

Ben Thomas is the Business Manager for the San Juan Island School District.

Dotty Walker is the Fiscal Coordinator for the San Juan Island School District and handles employee benefits, payroll, employment contracts, accounts payable, and purchasing.  She is responsible for payment of all the district's bills, as well as processing and tracking all purchase orders. She has been with the district for 7 years.

Marie Rothlisberger is the Personnel Coordinator for the San Juan School District.  She is responsible for posting open positions and receives applications for all district position openings.   She is also responsible for employees’ benefits.  She has been with the district for 4 years.

Scott Bell is the facilities and transportation director for the San Juan Island School District. Scott is in his 31st year working for the San Juan Island School District. Part of Scott's duties include running the daily operations of the transportation department, buses to-from school, athletic / field trip scheduling, etc. His other duties consist of overseeing the operations of the Districts facilities and grounds, both on San Juan Island and the District's one room school on Stuart Island. 

Kay Jakutis is the Special Services Director for the San Juan Island School District.

Steven Smith is the Network Administrator for the San Juan Island School District and has 12 years experience in Information Technology.
