District Office Staff

Maude Cumming is the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent for San Juan Island School District. She has been with the District for 15 years and is responsible for scheduling appointments for the superintendent, maintaining the official record for School Board meetings, facilitating district office publications and communication, as well as filing reports with the state Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction. She also serves as the District's Affirmative Action Officer.

Ben Thomas Business Manager for the San Juan Island School District.

Dotty Walker Fiscal Coordinator for the San Juan Island School District and handles employee benefits, payroll, employment contracts, accounts payable, and purchasing.  She is responsible for payment of all the district's bills, as well as processing and tracking all purchase orders. She has been with the district for 7 years.

Marie Rothlisberger Personnel Coordinator for the San Juan School District.  She is responsible for posting open positions and receives applications for all district position openings.   She is also responsible for employees’ benefits.  She has been with the district for 4 years.
