• All records maintained by the San Juan Island School District are available for public inspection unless specifically exempted by law. 
     

    Response to Request

    Within five business days of receiving a public records request, we will respond in one of the following ways:
     
    • Provide the records
    • Provide a reasonable estimate of the time necessary to respond to the request
    • Contact the requester to clarify the request
    • Deny the request and specify why it was denied

    How to Submit a Public Records Request

    You may submit a public records request by email, mail, or in person.  Please use the Public Records Request form or be sure to include the following information in your request:
     
     • Name, address, telephone number, and email address of the requestor;
     
     • Identification of the public records adequate for the Public Records Officer or designee to locate the records; and
     
     • The date the request is submitted to the District.
