EP&O Levy

On February 10, 2026, 74.85% of voters cast their ballot to renew the four-year Educational Programs and Operations (EP&O) Levy.  Thank you, San Juan Island community!  

What Will This Local Money Pay For?

The funds from the Levy will help pay for things that make our schools great, including:

  • Small Class Sizes: Keeping the number of students low so teachers can help everyone.

  • Key Staff: Paying for counselors and the school nurse.

  • Important Classes: Funding music, drama, art, science (STEM), and high-level (Advanced Placement) classes.

  • Extra Help: Paying for programs like summer school, after-school study sessions, and special education

  • Safe and Clean Schools: Covering the costs for janitors (custodial) and upkeep (maintenance).

  • Other Support: Providing healthy and fresh meals, support for English Language Learners, and alternative and non-traditional learning options.
