Mrs. Turnbull

I was born in Spokane, Washington in 1966 and moved to Friday Harbor in 1976. I attended FHES from 4th grade through high school, where I graduated in 1984. After attending Central Washington University from 1984-88 I earned an accounting degree. My husband and I moved to southern California in 1988 to pursue careers there.

After substitute teaching in the Desert Sands Unified School District, I earned my teaching degree through California State University. I was hired to teach math at La Quinta middle school and taught there for six years. In 1996 we moved back to Washington state where I taught math at Meridian middle school for the next six years. In 2002 we moved back to my home town of Friday Harbor where I helped raise our two daughters until 2012, when I was hired at FHMS to teach Math at the seventh and eighth grade level.
