I moved from San Francisco to San Juan Island in 2014. I have been incredibly fortunate to work for San Juan Island School District throughout those nine years. I've worked as a paraeducator, the middle school volleyball coach, a long-term sub as the high school Spanish teacher, and this will be my fifth year as a 7th/8th grade English and AVID teacher. I love dogs, hiking, freediving, chess, and the sound of a classroom of middle schoolers during silent reading. :)
