Originally a music teacher before enjoying a career in executive business management around the globe, I am thrilled to finally settle down in my favorite community on earth to spend my days learning alongside curious and courageuous students from all walks of life. I'm lucky enough to split my days between exploring Science and Health/PE at Friday Harbor Middle School in the mornings before spending my afternoons enjoying Theater Arts and Health & Exercise Science at Friday Harbor High School.

Students are quick to learn that, despite my fun and outgoing demeanor, I expect them to accept the highest levels of personal responsibility for their own learning while learning to constantly challenge themselves to achieve their personal best - in the classroom, on the field, and among their families and friends. My door is always open, but I'm not afraid to seek those out who are afraid to seek help for themselves.
