Diane Heller

I have been teaching in the San Juan Island School District for 15 years, and I currently teach Northwest Studies, ELA Intervention, and Physical Education at Friday Harbor Middle School. I truly enjoy working at the middle school, where our staff is dedicated to supporting one another and helping every student succeed.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time in the outdoors—whether it’s kayaking on our beautiful waters, camping, or simply relaxing with a good book. Teaching and learning in such a supportive community is a privilege, and I’m proud to be part of FHMS.
