I have worked at Friday Harbor Elementary School since 2003 mostly in fifth grade. For 12 years I was the Math Olympiad and Robotics coach.  My family has spent time here since 1979 at Roche Harbor during the Fourth of July holiday, cruising the outer islands, crabbing, and fishing the beautiful Salish Sea.  My roots are on my family's alfalfa farm at the base of the Selkirk Mountains on horseback with a springer spaniel at my heels.  My husband and I enjoy our life here with our French bulldog Bones and our Boston Terrier Nimoy and we are always picking and scrounging treasures from CT.  Room 18 in Friday Harbor Elementary is my happy place.
