Mrs. WARIN

Hello! My name is Kim Warin. I have lived on San Juan Island since 1986. I wake up every morning excited to be a part of this beautiful and amazing community. We are so lucky to live here in so many ways. I have been teaching at FHES for over 23 years. I am happily married to my hilarious husband of 37 years. I love to go fishing, watch baseball, as my husband is the FHHS Head Baseball Coach of 28 years, read and travel. Life on an island is truly special.

Welcome to another great year of learning at Friday Harbor Elementary!  I am currently teaching 3rd grade and am proud to be a member of the 3rd grade teaching team. I just LOVE 3rd graders. It's a year to build stamina, become more independent with learning responsibilities and have a growing mind set to challenge yourself. 3rd grade rocks!  As we journey through the year, learning together is what it's all about.
