Reading Homework 

You can help your child grow and become an avid reader by carrying this enthusiasm for literature into the home. I ask you to show your child that you value reading by helping him or her get into the habit of reading for at least 20 minutes each day. Your child may choose a book from home, the school library, or the public library. Students may either read to themselves or be read to. This daily homework is to be recorded on the Reading Homework sheet.

The Reading Log should be kept in the homework folder, and should come to and from school every day.
