S.T.A.R. Study Time and Afternoon Recreation is Island Rec’s supervised after-school program for children ages K-5. STAR is structured to provide opportunities for every child to learn, play, socialize, and grow in a safe, enriching, and nurturing environment. Each day includes time for child-initiated play, organized games and activities, snacks, and homework.
