Cleaning and Disenfecting Procedures during Covid-19 (Coronavirus)
The San Juan Island School District has been taking all precautions, following the CDC Guidelines for Cleaning and Disinfecting. Facilities and Maintenance staff have been trained to these guidelines, and are working hard to maintain a clean, disinfected, and safe facility.
Over the past months, SJISD has also taken extra precautions to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus:
- Plexiglass partitions have been installed in building offices and public areas
- Social distance floor signs will be installed
- Restrooms are being upgraded with touchless components (faucets, toilets, dispensers, etc..)
- Hand sanitizer dispensers have been installed at the entrance of every classroom and throughout all buildings
