• Respiratory Viral Illness (Including COVID-19, Influenza, RSV)

Students will not be asked to stay home for 5 days if they test positive for Covid or any other viral illness. Instead, they will be asked to return only when their symptoms have improved and they are feeling well enough to resume daily activities, if they can cover their cough, and they have not had a fever (and have not used fever-reducing medication) for 24 hours. Extra precautions are encouraged (masks, frequent handwashing, physical distancing) for the next 5 days upon return.
