If student medication is to be kept in the health room, it must be brought to school in the original, properly labeled container, and must not have exceeded the expiration date.
Students must go to the health room in the main office to receive their medication.
If your student has received permission to self-carry his/her own medication (with a form signed by a medical provider), the medication must be brought to school in the original, properly labeled container and must not have exceeded the expiration date. This only applies to inhalers and epi pens for students in grades 6-12.
There must be a medication permission form on file signed by both the parent and the medical provider for both of the above.
